Social Media Marketing Manager/Assistant
We are hiring a Social Media Marketing Assistant to manage and execute social media content for a group of companies.
This role combines ownership of social planning with hands on visual design. You will be responsible for calendars, post concepts, and input in the design of static assets that communicate clearly to a professional audience. The role is open ended and will be shaped around the right person.
You will work closely in a small team and contribute to creative direction.
Responsibilities
- Contribute ideas on content themes, positioning and strategy
- Administer LinkedIn content calendars across multiple brands
- Manage social campaigns
- Crafting engaging copy, telling brand stories, and adapting tone for different platforms
- Design static social assets aligned to each brand’s visual identity
- Develop clear, consistent layouts suited to a technical, professional audience
- Data analysis - record and evaluate feedback and performance for client reports
- Update client blogs and websites
- Assist wider team on event logistics, content shoots and meetings
- Administrative tasks such as scheduling, booking appointments, note taking
Requirements
Must have
- Strong eye for layout, hierarchy, and typography
- Confident using Powerpoint, Excel and social media platforms
- Comfortable managing planning as well as execution within a small team
- Passionate about video, events, and creative media
- Platform Expertise (understanding content formats - best times to post, platform specific nuances)
- Capacity and interest for work-based travel as a team
Preferred
- Existing knowledge of graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
- Previous marketing experience
- Basic SEO knowledge
- Interest in construction, architecture, or built environment content
Role structure
- Freelance, part time, or full time negotiable

Salary
- To be negotiated based on role structure and experience
Pay: £18,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
