Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering pharmaceutical products to customers in a timely and safe manner. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver pharmaceutical orders to customers' premises.
- Ensure accurate and secure handling of medication packages during transit.
- Maintain delivery schedules and communicate any delays or issues to the pharmacy team promptly.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Verify delivery details and obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies during deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, especially within pharmacy, courier, or commercial driving roles.
- Valid UK driver’s licence with a clean driving record is essential.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards is desirable.
- Strong communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with customers and team members.
You will be compensated with your hourly pay, as well as 45p per mile during deliveries. You will need to use and maintain your own road legal vehicle for the deliveries. The company will cover any additional insurance premium required for business use of your vehicle.
Expected hours will be Tuesday and Thursday approximately 1pm-4pm.
