Job description
This role will involve the cleaning of an office environment, along with meeting areas, reception, toilets and canteen. We use cleaning solutions that achieve immaculately high standards in order to ensure that our client and their staff receive the best cleaning service possible.
- The large open plan office spaces require cleaning of desks that have been used that day, along with hoovering of debris to ensure that this workspace is maintained for the next user.
- The meeting spaces are utilised frequently and are cleaned after meetings and events.
- Toilets across the floors of the site are to be cleaned so that hygiene standards are met, with toilet paper and hand towel dispensers filled as required.
- Kitchen areas are to be cleaned and tidied after meal times in the afternoon, with bins emptied when necessary.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate must be hard working, diligent and proactive. You must present the cleaning service in a positive light, with a determination to please the client and visitors to the site through the maintenance of these high cleaning standards.
You will be contracted to a minimum of 20 hours per week, but the timing of these shifts will vary from week to week, so flexibility is required between afternoons and evenings.
A good level of English is preferred but not essential. You'll need to be able to take instructions from the on-site supervisor and follow the role's requirements.
Due to the location of the sites in and outwith Aberdeen city centre, you must be willing to commute yourself either by public transport or your own vehicle during daytime and evening hours until 10pm at night.
This position will be on a based on an initial 3 month probationary period after which a permanent position will be offered based on performance and suitability.
