Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Fall Protection Engineer & Trainee to support our team in ensuring safe working environments at various construction sites. This role involves assisting with the installation, maintenance, and inspection of fall protection systems, primarily in roofing, and other high-risk areas. Duties
- Install fall protection equipment on-site, including guardrails, Ladders, Access equipment, Davit bases, Abseil Rails,
- Support the inspection and maintenance of existing fall protection systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Follow safety procedures diligently during all tasks to minimise risk and promote a secure working environment.
- Aid in the interpretation of schematics and technical drawings related to fall protection systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Participate in safety meetings and contribute to ongoing site safety assessments.
Requirements
- Previous experience or knowledge in Working at height, roofing, welding, work, or general construction is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and basic fabrication techniques.
- Basic understanding technical drawings related to construction projects.
- Ability to work at heights and on uneven surfaces while adhering strictly to safety protocols.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to fall protection systems and construction safety practices.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in demanding environments.

Pay: £24,420.00-£48,000.00 per year
