We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tiler to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various tiling surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary materials to ensure proper tile adhesion
- Measure and mark layouts accurately using schematics and blueprints to achieve precise tile placement
- Cut tiles with hand tools or power tools to fit specific spaces and angles, ensuring clean edges and professional finishes
- Install tiles using appropriate adhesives, grout, and sealants according to project specifications
- Follow construction drawings and schematics closely to maintain consistency and quality across all work
- Perform construction painting as needed to prepare surfaces before tiling or finish work after installation
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and properly handling tools and materials
Skills
- Proven construction experience with a focus on tiling projects
- Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, and measuring tapes
- Experience with power tools including tile cutters, drills, and saws for efficient installation
- Knowledge of carpentry principles for framing or supporting structures related to tiling work
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately for precise installation
- Familiarity with construction painting techniques for surface preparation or finishing touches
- Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and commitment to quality standards
