Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering materials efficiently and safely, ensuring timely service to clients. This role requires a professional attitude, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various routes.
ONE WEEKEND DAY AND ONE WEEK DAY PER WEEK
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicle
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals at designated locations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules or issues encountered.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies
- Assist with warehouse duties when not on deliveries, such as organising stock.
Skills
- Proven experience in similar roles
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members professionally.
- Ability to navigate using GPS devices or maps efficiently.
- A valid driver’s licence is essential.
