Responsibilities:
- Opening / closing studio. Ensure the studio is clean and set up before the classes commence
- Undertaking cleaning procedures (vacuum, dusting, changing bins, tidying up spaces & mopping)
- Replenishing supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, toiletries, filling spray bottles, replenishing socks etc.)
- Answering phones and emails
- Welcoming and booking clients into classes
- Booking personal training services and managing trainers schedules
- Approaching clients with promotions and making sales, including following up with clients on emails/ phone where necessary. Taking payments for sales
- Logging in all daily comms with the clients as check in notes
- Building and Maintaining client relationships
Previous experience of working for a fitness studio is preferable but not essential. Outgoing & friendly personality with an interest in health & fitness is key. Attention to detail and multi tasking capabilities are essential to being successful in role. Phone and email etiquette required along with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
We are looking for someone who can work calmly under pressure while multitasking and is comfortable approaching clients with the business' sales offering.
We are hiring for 1 position for up to 20 hours per week across morning, evening shifts and weekend shifts.
Our studio opening hours are:
Mornings: Mon 6:30am to 1pm, Tuesday 7am to 1pm, Wed 6:30am to 2pm , Thurs 7am to 1pm and Fri 6:30am to 2pm
Evenings: Mon to Thur 5pm to 8:30pm, and Fri - 4pm to 6:30pm
Weekends: 8:30am to 1pm
Part Time Hours: 10-20 hours per week
Occasional cover will be required outside agreed shift pattern.
