Overview
We are seeking a dedicated KS3 and KS4 Maths Tutor to support students in developing their mathematical understanding and skills. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs, fostering confidence and academic progress. Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised Maths tutoring sessions for KS3 and KS4 students, ensuring clarity and engagement.
- Prepare lesson plans and resources aligned with curriculum standards and individual student requirements.
- Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Support students with exam preparation, homework, and coursework to enhance their understanding.
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student development and needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts in an accessible manner.
- Experience working with children or young people, including those with special educational needs.
- Knowledge of current curriculum standards and assessment methods for secondary education.
- Ability to motivate students and adapt teaching approaches to diverse learning styles.
- Organised, reliable, and committed to supporting student success.
- A recognised qualification in Education or a relevant subject area is desirable but not essential.
Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
