Job Overview
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join our busy cooked meats factory, working on the raw side of production.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Previous experience in food production, meat processing or a similar manufacturing environment would be an advantage, but full training can be provided to the right candidate.
Candidates must be:
- eliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Able to follow instructions and work to set procedures
- A good team player with a positive attitude
- Willing to work in a chilled/raw meat production environment
- Experienced in meat processing or food manufacturing (preferred but not essential)
Duties
- Mincing and preparing meat products
- Injecting products using production equipment
- Trimming meat to the required specification
- Weighing and packing products
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
- Following production procedures and health & safety requirements
- Working efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets
Experience
- Prior experience in food production or manufacturing environments is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery maintenance is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Basic record keeping skills.

Pay: £12.80-£14.00 per hour
