Job Overview
We are seeking EXPERIENCED, enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment where hospitality skills are valued and developed. Responsibilities
- Serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take orders accurately and process payments using the till system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages
- Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables or seating areas as required
- Collaborate with team members to deliver smooth service during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols
Requirements
- Previous bar experience is essential
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and responsible serving practices is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy shifts
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing demands in a lively environment
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential
