Job Purpose and Role Overview:

- To organise and maintain a clean, clear working environment in the warehouse so to ensure safe and easy access to all goods.
- To ensure the correct goods are unloaded and signed for correctly, picked accordingly and warehoused FIFO.
- You will need to be adaptable, work well within a team, and contribute to maintaining an organized and effective warehouse environment.

Candidate Profile:
- Forklift Experience: Forklift truck licence is desirable. (Training can be provided if necessary).
- Warehouse Experience: One year warehouse experience is preferable.
- Customer Service: One year shop floor experience is preferable.
- Manual Handling: Knowledge of safe manual handling techniques.
Health and Safety:
- To take responsibility for own safety and that of the team.
- To follow the Safe Systems of Work to ensure the safe operation of plant and equipment.
- To minimise obstructions and adhere to a ‘clean as you go’ policy.
- To report all accidents and near misses no matter how trivial.
- To stop a job if you feel it is unsafe to continue and speak to your Line Manager.
Main Duties:
- Check incoming deliveries, detach the delivery notes and confirm the goods are present before giving your signature. Check dates and batch numbers of all ingredients that are delivered.
- Maximise space in the warehouse and safely move raw ingredients and packaging into their designated warehouse positions.
- Customer Focus: Ensure that all orders are fulfilled to a high standard, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Unloading: load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring that all goods are handled safely and are correctly checked against delivery notes.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork for orders and deliveries, always ensuring accuracy.
- Stock Management: Report any discrepancies in stock, assisting with any inventory counts
- Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all site health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Regularly check that equipment is in good working order and report any hazards or safety concerns immediately.
