Overview
Are you looking for genuine autonomy and influence, without the corporate politics, KPI pressure or internal competition that often comes with a title like this elsewhere?
Our client is a reputable and growing multidisciplinary consultancy providing civil and structural engineering, surveying, and project management throughout the UK. They are looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Chartered Building Surveyor who enjoys leading people and building client relationships as much as delivering projects.
The role will suit someone who has developed a strong technical foundation over many years but now finds the greatest satisfaction in guiding teams, advising clients and helping shape the direction of a business.
Whilst technical credibility is essential, they are particularly interested in individuals who are recognised for their leadership style, commercial judgement and ability to build trust with clients and colleagues alike. You'll be given the autonomy to lead projects, develop client relationships, mentor surveyors and play a meaningful role in the continued growth of the business, while continuing to work on technically challenging and rewarding projects.
This is a great opportunity to join a highly collaborative and supportive firm with a genuinely flat structure, no internal competition, and no individual KPIs or billing targets — the focus is on delivering good technical work as a team, not chasing numbers.
