We are seeking a special individual to join our team at Oakland as Residential Support Worker for our EBD And LD 3 bed children’s home in Gillingham, Kent. ( WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP)

The Role
- To join a team offering a comprehensive residential service for children and young people. With the aim being to ensure the physical, social, emotional care and development of the children at the home.
- To safeguard and protect the welfare of each child.
- To support the Manager and Deputy in all aspects of the home’s operation.
- To provide safe, warm, and supportive environment to our children
- To provide fair and consistent boundaries in respect to each child’s behaviour.
- To participate in the general activities of the home and to use any personal skills you may have to maximise opportunity for each child.
Qualifications & Requirements.
- Driving license is preferred; if not, ability to use public transport with young people
- NVQ Diploma level 3/4 in Children's Residential Essential
- Genuine passion for achieving outcomes for young people.
