The Opportunity
Based in Guildford, Surrey, Optimum Golf Technologies is one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the golf industry today. Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a passionate, driven, and organised Manufacturing Operative to join our team.
The successful candidate will work as part of a small team to fabricate high quality simulator components at our Guildford offices. This will involve hard physical work, an attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure within time constraints.
This position has the potential to involve travel and on-site installation work in the future subject to performance.
Main Duties
- To assist with the manufacture of simulator components and other material preparation at our Guildford facility.
- ·To communicate effectively with other employees and provide accurate daily progress reports.
- To liaise and assist with other areas of the business as required.
- To represent the company professionally, positively, and cheerfully.
Required Skills & Experience
- · Self-motivation, enthusiasm & willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, assembly, or electronic assembly environment advantageous.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written instructions and production processes accurately.
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good trade/DIY skills and practical experience would be an advantage.
- Good IT skills would be useful.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Positive attitude and the ability to think quickly and calmly under pressure
- Presentable and able to liaise professionally with colleagues and customers at all times.
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
