We are seeking an Assistant Pub & Hotel Manager to support the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for guest service, and proven experience in supervising teams within the hotel or hospitality industry. Responsibilities
- Support the Hotel & Pub Directors in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of guest service and satisfaction.
- Supervise and motivate team members across various departments, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Assist with human resources functions, including recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Coordinate reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently while maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies.
- Contribute to organising events or promotions to enhance guest engagement and revenue generation.
- Support financial management tasks such as budgeting, stock control, and sales reporting as required.
Requirements
- Proven supervisory experience within the hotel or hospitality sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Experience in human resources functions such as recruitment, training, or staff development is advantageous.
- Previous hotel experience is preferred but not essential; a background in hospitality is essential.
- Organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
