Part time - Marketing & Communications Lead (22.5 hours per week)

This is a varied and rewarding opportunity to lead the marketing and communications function for a well-established local charity making a tangible difference to people affected by Mental Health.
Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will develop and deliver the organisation's marketing and communications strategy, ensuring the impact of ECS services is communicated effectively to funders, supporters, volunteers, partners and the wider community.
Combining strategic planning with hands-on delivery, you will oversee digital communications, create compelling organisational and fundraising content, produce key publications, and champion the charity's brand across all channels.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation, you will play an important role in supporting fundraising, increasing awareness and strengthening stakeholder engagement through creative storytelling and impactful communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the marketing and communications plan, ensuring activity supports the charity's strategic objectives.
- Lead the charity's digital communications, including website management, social media, email marketing and digital content.
- Produce compelling content to inform fundraising campaigns, corporate partnerships, community fundraising, sponsorship, and organisational communications.
- Lead the production of the Annual Report and other organisational publications, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Champion and protect the ECS brand, ensuring all communications are consistent, accessible and aligned with the organisation's values.
- Build relationships with local media outlets to raise awareness of Elmore’s mission, impact and the issues that are relevant to our mission and strategy
Person Specification
- Demonstrable experience delivering successful marketing and communications strategies.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce engaging content for a variety of audiences and channels.
- Experience using video and visual design tools to produce content, manage websites, social media platforms, and produce email marketing and digital communications.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, co-ordinate projects and deliver high-quality work to deadlines.
- Experience producing publications such as annual reports, impact reports or other organisational materials.
- Ability to gather, interpret and communicate complex and sensitive information through clear and compelling storytelling.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders.
- Experience within the charity, healthcare or not-for-profit sector would be Understanding of our mission, vision and values and include this within all communications
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Willingness to shadow our work and meet with people who use our services
- Understanding and knowledge of mental health issues and complex needs
