Nexgen Locum are currently looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to support two residential care homes in Ipswich.
This is an excellent opportunity for HCAs looking for flexible, ongoing work, with a mixture of day, night and weekend shifts available.
The Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, helping them maintain their dignity, independence and quality of life.
Duties will include:
- Supporting residents with personal care and daily living
- Assisting with mobility and transfers
- Supporting with meals and hydration
- Monitoring residents' wellbeing
- Following individual care plans
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Working as part of a wider care team
- Promoting dignity, choice and independence
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker
- Experience within a residential care setting is desirable
- Mandatory training certificates
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and professional approach
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
- Right to work in the UK
- Flexibility to work days, nights and/or weekends
