Maintenance Engineer Overview
Location: Stevenage Head Office
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per year, depending on experience
Job type: Full-time
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team, based from our head office in Stevenage.
The successful candidate must come from a recognised trade background and have practical experience carrying out maintenance, repairs and fault-finding. You will attend jobs using a company van provided for daily use.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance
- Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs
- Ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Maintain accurate records of completed work
- Liaise professionally with colleagues, customers and contractors
- Look after the company van, tools and equipment provided
Requirements:
- Recognised trade qualification or demonstrable trade background
- Previous maintenance engineering experience
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, professional and able to work independently
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety
