Temporary Warehouse & Retail Support Assistant
We’re looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our busy warehouse and retail team in the run-up to Christmas.
This is a varied, hands-on role with a large focus on picking and packing customer orders, alongside stock handling, deliveries and general warehouse duties. You’ll also support with stock replenishment and practical tasks on the shop floor when required, so flexibility and a willingness to get stuck in are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch
- Receiving and unloading deliveries, including containers and pallets. NB we do not use forklifts onsite.
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse and shop floor
- Checking, pricing and processing incoming stock
- Replenishing stock on the shop floor when required
- Assisting with the building and maintenance of shop floor displays
- Using basic tools for practical tasks where required
- Keeping warehouse, stock and working areas clean, tidy and organised
- Supporting the wider team with other warehouse and retail duties as required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stockroom, picking and packing, retail or similar hands-on environment
- Experience picking and packing customer orders is preferred
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
- Able to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Physically capable of regular lifting and manual handling
- Good practical skills, with DIY, tool use or woodworking experience an advantage
- Flexible and willing to adapt to different tasks throughout the working day
- A proactive approach and willingness to get involved wherever needed
Shift Requirements
- 30+ hours per week
- Must be available to work at least one weekend day per week
- Must be able to work one late shift per week, 12:00pm–8:00pm
- Flexibility is essential, particularly during our busiest periods in the run-up to Christmas

- Fixed-term contract ending 13th December 2026
- Immediate start available
