Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials for each appointment
- Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing concerns clearly and empathetically
- Coordinate treatment plans by discussing options with patients and scheduling follow-up appointments
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards
- Support practice administration by managing appointments, reminders, and patient communications efficiently
- Uphold strict health and safety protocols to create a clean, safe environment for patients and staff
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Nurse or Treatment Coordinator in a busy dental practice
- Strong knowledge of patient care practices within dentistry and excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work effectively using IT systems for record keeping and appointment management
- Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple tasks smoothly and efficiently
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and team members alike
- Relevant nursing qualifications or certifications recognized within the dental industry
- A proactive attitude with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
