Overview
We are a friendly, well established local firm of accountants seeking an organised part-time administrative assistance to join our team. This role is key to the growth of the firm and ensuring a smooth day to day running of the office.
Responsibilities
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls in a professional manner
- Management of partner and staff meetings including making appointments
- Issuing sales invoices to clients using Xero
- Managing internal credit control processes including chasing outstanding debts
- Ensure the office supplies are stocked and reorder items as necessary
- Provide general administrative support to the team
- Assisting with internal ad hoc projects to improve business efficiencies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in credit control is essential
- Previous administrative experience
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills with good phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Pay: £19,500.00 per year
