Commercial Assistant
Be More Geek is looking for a motivated and organised Commercial Assistant to join our team.
This is a varied role supporting the commercial side of the business, helping us manage products, pricing, stock, promotions and day-to-day administration across our stores and online business.
We’re looking for someone who is commercially minded, confident working with numbers and spreadsheets, and comfortable juggling different priorities in a fast-moving retail environment.
The Role
Working closely with our Commercial Manager and wider operations team, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting with product setup, pricing and promotional activity
- Maintaining accurate product and stock information
- Assisting with purchase orders and supplier administration
- Monitoring stock levels, sales performance and product availability
- Producing and updating spreadsheets, reports and commercial information
- Helping identify strong-selling and underperforming products
- Supporting stock movements and allocation across stores
- Liaising with stores, warehouse teams and suppliers when required
- Assisting with new product launches and seasonal activity
- General administration to support the commercial function
What We’re Looking For
You don’t necessarily need previous experience in an identical role, but you will need to be:
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Confident using Excel and working with data
- Comfortable with numbers and basic calculations
- Able to manage several tasks and priorities at the same time
- Reliable and able to work independently
- A clear and confident communicator
- Commercially aware with an interest in retail and what makes products sell
- Willing to get stuck in and support different areas of the business when needed
Previous experience in retail, purchasing, merchandising, stock control, administration or a commercial environment would be an advantage.

Pay: From £27,500.00 per year
