Inspire Academy is a childcare setting based in Manchester providing high-quality Afterschool care for children aged 5 -15 yr Olds. The Role We are looking for a caring, reliable Childcare Worker to join our Manchester team. You will support children's learning, development and wellbeing in a safe, nurturing environment. Responsibilities Provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for children Support children's physical, emotional and social development Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities Observe and record children's progress and development Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised setting Build positive relationships with children and their families Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues Follow all safeguarding, health and safety policies Requirements Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or equivalent (essential) Experience working with children in a childcare setting or similar setting Current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one — we can process this for you) Paediatric first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one) Warm, patient and genuinely passionate about working with children Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude Right to work in the UK Desirable Level 3 or above in childcare Experience with children with additional needs (SEND) Food hygiene certificate What We Offer Supportive team environment Ongoing training and development opportunities .
