Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Ensure all food safety standards are maintained through proper handling and sanitation practices
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service throughout their visit
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light menu items when needed and serving them to customers
- Manage cash register operations, including basic math calculations for transactions and change handling
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas to uphold hygiene standards
- Effectively manage time during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without compromising quality
Experience
- Previous barista experience is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Experience in serving customers in fast-paced environments demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods to ensure prompt service
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus but not mandatory
