Overview
We are seeking a Friday and Saturday Changeover Housekeeper to join our team for the West Cornwall area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and preparing holiday properties throughout St Just and Sennen. Hours will generally be between 930/10am until approximately 230pm depending on departure numbers. The changeover will need to be carried out to the highest standards, ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for our visitors. Previous experience in changeovers, or hotel housekeeping required.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and changeover a holiday property on Fridays and Saturdays, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen and sanitising surfaces
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and refreshments to meet guest expectations
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Maintain a high level of organisation
- Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with additional cleaning duties as required to support the overall cleanliness of the properties
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, or changeovers is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role
- Knowledge of cleaning products and safety procedures is advantageous
This position is ideal for someone looking for a part time position, or in between school hours.
Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
