We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our organisation. Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support individuals in developing and following personalised care plans
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with medication management as per care instructions
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in condition
- Support clients with domestic tasks including meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Drive clients to appointments or outings when required, ensuring safe transportation
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures
Qualifications
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transportation duties
- 1 year experience working within a care home or home care environment is essential;
- Ability to read and understand care plans written in English
- Good IT skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism
- Should have a level 3 in Health care and or working towards
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
- Right to work in the UK
