“The best way to predict the future is to create it.”
I am currently acting on behalf of a well established SEN trust in Somerset that is seeking a talented and innovative teacher to join their team in September. You will be delivering high quality teaching and learning to students. The school is looking for someone to be committed to their students and being fully involved in the school community. This is an ideal opportunity for a teacher wishing to progress in their professional development with a passion for raising attainment and expectations.

A success candidate
As the school is a special needs setting, a passion for teaching and supporting SEN students is essential. Although SEN teaching experience would be ideal, the more important thing is a desire and enthusiasm for working with SEN children and giving all students equal opportunities. The school is looking for qualified teachers (QTS) or ECT. In this particular role you will be teaching students in the middle school so a strong cross curricula knowledge is preferable.
The School
The school has 3 sites that support students with a range of needs. They have a infants, middle and senior hub. The schools has a strong sense of local community and it has been an integral part of their ethos for many years. It is proud to have a very friendly and diverse body of staff who have developed a vision to make a real difference. They strive to build a future for learning in a wonderful school community where all students can be the very best version of themselves.
