The Terrace is the only Isle of Wight Restaurant featured in Michelin, Good Food, AA, Hardens and Square Meal Guides. We are family-owned and have a reputation for looking after and investing in team members whether they are with us just for the summer or on a permanent basis.
We are seeking Kitchen Porters or Cleaners to join our Summer team to help manage the extra numbers of guests we cater for from June to August.
This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen. You will support both kitchen and front of house teams by ensuring all plates, dishes, pans and other items are washed and cleaned regularly and look beautiful!
We will show you how to do all of this and support you. Experience isn't necessary but a desire to undertake rewarding physical work as part of a team really is.
We can offer training and development as a cook or into a bar or front of house role for a few shifts a week if this interests you and we will fully support you in learning our systems and standards.
We can offer roles for KPs or Cleaners from 20-50 hours per-week. As well as a good hourly wage we also offer generous tips.

Duties
- Washing and sanitising dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Assisting with basic food preparation tasks.
- Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas
- Organising and restocking supplies
- Washing towels and aprons
- Supporting the cleaning of kitchen equipment and appliances
- Assisting with waste disposal and recycling
Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour
