The Role
The Quantity Surveyor manages the financial and contractual aspects of construction/shop fitout projects, ensuring cost-efficiency and compliance from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- The financial and technical aspects of contracts including but not limited to procurement of supply chain, production of Interim Applications, Monthly Invoicing and payment to supply chain ensuring effective cash-flow management
- Preparing Cost Plans, sub-contract packages and compilation of Final Accounts
- Managing the contract accounting and ensure prompt payment and control cost information.
- Developing and maintain relationships with the client and supply chain
- Report to Head of Commercial
What We’re Looking For
· Proven experience as an Quantity Surveyor in construction or shopfitting
· Numerical and analytical skills: Strong ability to interpret data and perform cost analysis.
· Attention to detail: Precision in calculations and contract reviews is critical.
· Communication and negotiation: Ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and legal teams.
· Knowledge of construction methods: Understanding of building techniques and materials to assess costs accurately.
· IT proficiency: Familiarity with cost estimation software and project management tools.
