Job Overview
We are looking for someone to join our team to assist with delivering buns from our wholesale bakery to cafes. This will be set days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday with a 9:30am start - no weekends required.
You will start and finish your shift in the bakery in Bessbrook with finish times depending on length of route. Delivery locations include Newry, Lisburn, Belfast, Bangor and Armagh.
As your own van is required you will be paid for your time and mileage at £12.71 per hour and 30p per mile.
Duties
- Load, and unload bakes efficiently, ensuring items are protected during transit
- Communicate proactively with bakery regarding delivery status or any issues encountered
Requirements
- Own van with business insurance
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages and perform loading/unloading tasks as needed
Pay: £12.71 per hour
