A position has become available for a full time Banker Mason to join a friendly team based in Somerton. If you have experience in the manufacturing industry, then this is a perfect opportunity to join our company.
Role Requirements
Learn about various materials, the workshop processes into finished masonry items
Previous yard experience preferred with NVQ 2 minimum
Positive attitude, experience in working in Bankershop and Site
Good communication skills, ability to work individually and as part of a team
Reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the business
Safety conscious, ensuring that personal safety and that of others is key priority
Frequent physical effort in a physical environment, e.g. lifting, using heavy equipment, within H&S guidelines and hygiene regulations.
Role Responsibilities
Work stone to details and moulds for delivering to site
Safely operate mobile plant on site (full training will be given)
Participate in the maintenance and upkeep of the yard, ensuring that working areas are kept safe and organized in line with safe working procedures, equipment is kept clean and tidy to a high standard
Perform other yard duties assigned to you by the Production Manager
