Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing a variety of systems and structures across different sites, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction, carpentry, or related trades to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. The position involves working on-site, often requiring physical labour and technical expertise to complete projects efficiently and accurately. Duties
- Reading and interpreting technical schematics and blueprints to facilitate accurate installation processes
- Using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to assemble, install, and secure various components
- Performing carpentry, and working with plastics and composite materials and decking as required by specific projects
- Conducting lifting and manoeuvring materials safely to meet project specifications
- Ensuring all installations comply with safety regulations and quality standards
- Collaborating with team members and clients to ensure project timelines are met
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment throughout each project phase
- Troubleshooting installation issues on-site and implementing effective solutions promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, installation of cladding, decking, is highly desirable
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools
- Strong understanding of safety protocols within construction environments
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks over extended periods
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are advantageous but not essential
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
