Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Class 1 & 2 multi-drop pallet drivers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring timely and professional service to our clients. Applicants must possess a valid driving licence suitable for Class 1 or 2 vehicles and have previous experience in multi-drop deliveries.
Duties
- Safely operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles for multi-drop deliveries
- Load and unload pallets, ensuring secure transportation of goods
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations
- Assist with the loading and unloading of items, maintaining safety standards at all times
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and promptly
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
- Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour when interacting with clients during deliveries
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles
- Strong knowledge of delivery routes within the local area and beyond
- Excellent driving skills with a clean licence for Class 1 or 2 vehicles
- Ability to handle multiple drops efficiently while maintaining safety standards
- Good organisational skills to manage delivery schedules effectively
- Physical fitness to handle loading, unloading, and manoeuvring pallets
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude towards work commitments
