We are looking for an experienced plant area assistant to help look after our large plant area. We are a large family run garden centre in the heart of Kent.
Horticultural plant knowledge is essential.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain good stock control.
- Co-operate fully with your manager
- Ensure all queries and complaints are handled efficiently
- Customer Service expectations are exceeded
- Sales opportunities are generated through interaction with customers
- Seasonal displays are designed and maintained
We are looking for people with:
- Extensive knowledge and experience of working in a retail plant department and/or a horticultural qualification.
- A passion for customer service and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
- You will be flexible, enthusiastic and highly motivated
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
