Upper Denby Dental Care are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified dental nurse to join our friendly and professional team for 3/4 days a week.

Upper Denby Dental Care is a well established, family-run, private dental practice providing high quality modern dentistry in a warm, welcoming environment. We are located in the scenic village of Upper Denby (between Huddersfield and Barnsley), and pride ourselves on delivering excellent care and building warm relationships with our patients. Our purpose-built practice features two state-of-the-art surgeries, and our team is dedicated to preventative care, patient comfort and lifelong oral health.
The role
As a key member of our clinical team, you will:
- Assist dentists during a range of dental treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms for appointments and ensure instruments are sterilised and ready
- Provide outstanding patient care and support
- Contribute to regular housekeeping checks and follow protocols to ensure compliance
- Perform reception duties on rotation with colleagues (experience preferred but not essential)
- Maintain accurate record keeping and documentation of clinical procedures
- Adherence to strict infection control and cross-infection protocols
The ideal candidate
- Fully qualified and registered or in line for registration with the GDC
- Passionate about delivering excellent patient care.
- A caring and empathetic approach
- Comfortable with digital dental systems (e.g. Software of Excellence) and workflows
- Positive, professional, and a team player with fantastic communication
Requirements:
- Valid relevant qualifications
- Right to work in the UK

- Practice opening hours: 8:30-5pm Monday - Friday
