Senior Architectural Technologist

Alfred Recruitment is working with an established employee-owned architectural practice, to appoint an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their London studio.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Senior Architectural Technologist with proven job-running experience to join a progressive practice delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors.
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading technical delivery, managing project teams and supporting the continued growth of the London studio.
The Role:
As Senior Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the technical delivery of large-scale architectural projects (£20m+)
- Running multiple projects simultaneously from technical design through to completion
- Producing and managing detailed technical information and specifications
- Coordinating internal teams, consultants and external project partners
- Managing workloads and delegating tasks to junior team members
- Supporting and mentoring less experienced members of the team
- Managing client relationships and contributing to successful project delivery
- Assisting with fee management and project performance
- Supporting business development and winning new work
About You:
The successful Senior Architectural Technologist will have:
- Significant experience working as an Architectural Technologist within practice
- Proven experience running large and complex projects
- Strong technical delivery experience across RIBA stages
- Excellent knowledge of Revit and BIM processes
- Experience producing technical drawings, specifications and construction information
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations and technical standards
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Experience in the following areas would be advantageous:
- Refurbishment and retrofit projects
- Heritage buildings
- Education or healthcare projects
- Modern Methods of Construction (MMC)
- Net zero carbon design
- NBS Chorus
- Dynamo scripting
