Our client, a reputable financial services firm based in Taunton, is looking to recruit a Financial Services Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team. The Role
As a Financial Services Administrator, you will provide key administrative support across the business, helping to ensure client processes run smoothly and that documentation, communications and records are managed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to Financial Advisers, Paraplanners and clients
- Handling all incoming and outgoing communications in a professional and efficient manner
- Supporting client onboarding processes and preparing relevant documentation
- Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring information is kept up to date
- Assisting with general administrative queries and supporting wider business requirements
- Processing documentation accurately and in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
- Using internal systems effectively to manage workloads and maintain accurate information
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value to the team
- Ensuring advisers, paraplanners and clients receive a high standard of administrative support
- Supporting the wider team with general administration and compliance-related tasks as required
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience within a financial services administration role
- A good understanding of financial services products, processes and regulatory requirements
- Experience working within a financial services or compliance environment
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence using IT systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience using Intelligent Office (IO) or similar financial services software would be advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- A self-motivated and proactive approach, with a willingness to support the wider team
- Excellent communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with colleagues and clients
- The ability to work accurately and efficiently within a regulated environment
