MAINTENANCE WORKER - THE TORTWORTH ESTATE
The Tortworth Estate require an enthusiastic, competent and hard-working Estate Maintenance Worker to join their team in South Gloucestershire.
The Estate
The Tortworth Estate is a traditional rural Estate extending to approximately 4,500 acres situated near Wotton-Under-Edge on the border between Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire. The Estate comprises a mix of farmland, residential property, office and commercial property, woodland and quarries. The property portfolio includes approximately 75 houses, four holiday cottages and 12 commercial premises.
The Role
The in-house Maintenance Team enables the Estate to deal with development projects and ongoing property repairs in a timely and efficient way. The Estate is now looking to appoint a further member of the Maintenance Team to contribute in a hands-on role.
This is a full-time, permanent role and has the benefit of being part of a long-term and secure business.
The work to be carried out by the Maintenance Team is interesting and varied. From carrying out the full conversion of a stone building to offices to replacing a tap washer, the Team deals with all manner of tasks relating to maintaining and improving the properties on the Estate.

The most important thing is that the individual will have the right attitude to become a key part of the team. The ability to communicate clearly and politely with tenants is also important.
Training is encouraged and will be provided for the right candidate to learn new skills if and when necessary.
The usual working times are Monday to Friday from 7.45am to 4.15pm with a half hour lunch break. Working additional hours at other times and on weekends may be required from time to time.
