Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy in data entry, and assisting with accounts processes. Responsibilities
- Manage data entry tasks related to accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date
- Assist with processing invoices, expense claims, and payments using accounting software with Xero & Hubdoc.
- Support the reconciliation of accounts and preparation of financial reports as required
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with organisational policies
- Maintain organised records of all transactions and documentation for audit purposes
- Contribute to month-end closing activities by providing necessary data and reports
- Prepare VAT returns.
- Prepare Payroll.
Skills
- Proven experience with accounting software Xero & Hubdoc.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and financial documentation management
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, within a team environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and procedures in a fast-paced setting

Pay: £25,420.00-£40,577.98 per year
