Chef de Partie
Location: Open Arms Hotel, Dirleton, East Lothian
Annual Pay: £33,000
Hours: Max 40 hours a week
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in good food, strong organisation, and being part of a supportive, well-run kitchen.
The Role
- Run your own section during service with confidence and consistency
- Prepare and deliver high-quality dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Maintain excellent standards of food presentation and cleanliness
- Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth service
- Support junior chefs and contribute to a positive kitchen culture
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Commis ready to step up
- Passion for well-executed, quality food
- Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure
- A positive team player with good communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen best practice
