We are looking for a Domestic Plumbing Maintenance Technician for a full-time, permanent position in Thetford.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance to ensure facilities remain safe and fit for purpose
- Support asset maintenance, building repairs, inspections, planned and preventative maintenance
- Liaise with stakeholders such as asset users, tenants, employer representatives and contractors
- Follow all Health & Safety policies, completing risk assessments and method statements
- Complete documentation using IT and paper‑based systems
- Deliver additional works when required under contract requirements
- Maintain skills and attend training to remain competent in relevant disciplines
- Willingness to participate in the on-call rota 1 in 5 weeks and support with annual leave/ sickness cover
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Preferred Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering Services (Plumbing) or equivalent experience
- Strong Health & Safety knowledge
- Ability to plan ahead and work to tight deadlines
- Good IT skills with ability to use a tablet
- Full UK driving licence (company van provided)
Role Details
- Salary: £37,115.94
- Location: Thetford, Norfolk
- Contract: Permanent, Mon–Fri, 37 hrs p/w (08:00–16:30)
