As Principal Transition Consultant, you will act as the professional lead for Service Transition Management, providing strategic and technical expertise to ensure solutions are effectively planned, governed and delivered. You will lead ITIL-based practices across IT & Digital, assuring change and release activity and guiding teams through complex transformation. This is a high-impact role, critical to maintaining service continuity and enabling major programmes such as the future Local Government Reorganisation.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Hold an ITIL qualification (Foundation level minimum, with relevant Practitioner certification)
- Has experience in Service Transition Management and ITIL best practice
- Have experience of IT governance within complex organisations, including designing and implementing controls and standards
- Can lead technical teams
Are able to plan and deliver large-scale technical changes, releases, and transformation activity
