Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team at Willen Lake.This role involves providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to safety standards.
- Serve food items in accordance with hygiene and food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas throughout the shift.
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing friendly recommendations.
- Manage cash transactions accurately and handle payments securely.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including garnishing drinks or organising supplies.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by delivering attentive service and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including food safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques.
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and cash transactions accurately.
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus.
- Culinary knowledge or previous kitchen experience can enhance service quality.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts.
