What does a Community Care Worker do?
Every day is different, but your role could include:
- Supporting people with personal care while promoting dignity and independence.
- Preparing meals and encouraging healthy nutrition.
- Prompting or assisting with medication.
- Providing companionship and meaningful conversation.
- Helping with light household tasks and laundry.
- Supporting mobility and safe moving and handling.
- Assisting with shopping or attending appointments.
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any concerns.
The small things you do every day can make a huge difference to someone's life.

If you have the right values, we'll teach you everything else through our fully paid induction and ongoing training programme.
Hours
Our service operates between 6:30am and 10:30pm, with a couple of shift patterns available (6:30am-2:30pm/2:30pm-10:30pm/weekends only).
To provide consistency for our service users and fairness across the team, all colleagues work every other weekend.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Access to your own vehicle, as you'll be travelling between service users' homes.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Good spoken and written English.
