DDA Haulage LTD are currently recruiting a HGV1 Class 1 Bulk Tipper Driver to become a vital part of our logistics operation! Duties
- Safely operate HGV1 Class 1 trucks equipped with bulk tipper systems to transport materials to designated sites.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with road regulations.
- Execute precise delivery procedures, including tipping operations, ensuring loads are handled carefully and accurately.
- Plan optimal routes for timely deliveries while adapting to changing traffic conditions.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and compliance records throughout each shift.
- Follow all health and safety protocols rigorously to protect yourself and others on the road and at delivery sites.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery statuses, delays, or issues encountered during routes.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, specifically with HGVs.
- Demonstrated ability to handle bulk tipping operations safely and efficiently.
- Delivery driver experience with a focus on timely, accurate deliveries in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with driving regulations relevant to heavy goods vehicle operation within your region.
- Strong knowledge of route planning, vehicle maintenance checks, and safety procedures related to heavy vehicle operation.
- Valid HGV1 (Class 1) license with a clean driving record is essential.
- Additional skills such as flatbed handling or specialized bulk tipping experience are advantageous.
- Ideally 1 year UK HGV1 driving experience.
