We are recruiting for the Sept 26 and Jan 27 intake for Health Visitor and School Nurse students.
The course is full time for one year and will commence in Sept 26 or Jan 27 and comprises of 50% academic and 50% clinical placement in accordance with the University and Trust regulations. It is fully funded and salaried. You will be sponsored by Whittington Health and secure a place at City University, Kings University or HERTS University to complete their PG level ( 7) in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing and qualify as a Health Visitor or School Nurse.
Course requirement for entry applicants will need to show evidence of study at level 7 and have 2:2 or higher.
You will have a 12 month fixed term contract.
This post is subject to standard recruitment processes. Successful candidates must be available to commence the course in Sept 26 or Jan 27 on the start date.

The Health Visitor/ School Nurse play a pivotal role in supporting the development of the child and family, with key principles in public health nursing.
They are part of a wider integrated multi disciplinary service for children in the Boroughs with a focus on public health
Delivering the healthy child programme to diverse communities.
Developing programmes of early intervention and prevention,
Reducing health inequalities
Addressing health disparities
Fostering equal access to health care
Discussion health promotion like infant feeding topics
Support children and young people to reach their developmental milestones
