Job Overview
I am seeking a friendly and energetic Tumble Tots Play Assistant to join our team. Your role would be to support the delivery of fun, structured, physical play sessions for children aged 1-5 years. You will help create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive play experience for the children, and their carers, who attend our classes.
Duties
- Supervise children during organised play sessions, ensuring safety at all times and the correct use of the equipment.
- Assist with setting up and packing away the Tumble Tots equipment before and after classes, including moving the equipment in and out of the van.
- Engage positively with children in a friendly and encouraging manner to promote participation in all activities.
- Support all children of varying ages and abilities with patience and enthusiam.
- Support the class leader in delivering structured sessions, including physical activites, songs and movement.
- Provide a friendly and welcoming experience for parents, carers and the children, and maintaining a warm atmosphere.
- Assist with cleaning and the general up keep of the equipment
- Follow all health and Safety procedures, including risk assessments
Personal Specification
- Experience working with children or in childcare settings is preferred but not essential
- A proactive attitude, energectic, enthusiastic and reliable
- friendly and approachable with good communication skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- first aid qualification (or willing to obtain one)
- Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one)

Pay: £10.00-£12.71 per hour
