Become a Personal Assistant and help someone live life their way
Are you caring, reliable and ready to make a positive difference?
Personal Assistants, often known as PAs, are directly employed by people who receive health and/or social care funding. As a PA, you will help someone live the life they choose while remaining independent in their own home.
About the role
A Personal Assistant role is varied, interesting and highly rewarding. You will work directly with the person you support, helping with everyday activities in a way that promotes independence, dignity and choice.
What the roles can offer
- Flexible hours, which may range from a few hours each week to a few hours each day
- The opportunity to support someone to live independently and make their own choices
- A varied role where no two days are the same
- Training or guidance linked to the individual employer’s needs
- A role that can fit around other commitments, depending on the hours available
- A meaningful role where your support can make a real difference every day
Could you be a good fit?
Previous experience as a PA is not essential. What matters most is having the right attitude and a willingness to learn. You will be caring, patient, understanding, reliable and flexible.
