Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered General Nurse to join our team at Millbridge Care Home in the scenic countryside of GB. This role is vital in ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of holistic care, aligning with our mission to create a warm, home-like atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Administer medications accurately and monitor residents' health status.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update individual care plans.
- Support residents with daily activities, promoting independence and dignity.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Educate family members about residents’ health conditions and care procedures.
- Contribute to creating a welcoming, respectful environment that reflects our commitment to holistic care.
- Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse qualification (RGN) with valid registration.
- Proven experience in elder or residential care is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medication procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and team members.
- Compassionate approach with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to residents’ individual needs.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to elder care.
