TNS Catering
Chef supervisor- £15 to £17 per hour – Callington - 4 on, 4 off
6pm to 14:30am (evenings/nights)
A great opportunity has opened up to join a supportive and welcoming team at our well-established site in Callington. We are looking for a chef with at least two years of experience who brings genuine passion for food and great service. If you enjoy being part of a positive kitchen where people look out for each other, you will fit right in.
This role offers an amazing four on four off pattern that gives you real work life balance and plenty of free daytime hours to enjoy life outside of work. There will also be chances throughout the year to pick up overtime, cover holidays and earn extra money.

Chef Role overview
We are looking for a confident chef who is comfortable running the kitchen as the only chef on duty, supported by a general assistant
· You will have full control of your shift, planning your service, keeping a steady pace and taking real pride in your food
· Our day team will always set you up with strong support so your evenings feel calm, organised and smooth from the moment you arrive
· Good kitchen time keeping is important as you will be putting out a simple counter breakfast and a counter lunch service for our night customers
· Light customer interaction and simple till use during quieter evening periods
· Completing all food safety and health and safety due diligence in line with company policy
· General hygiene duties and taking pride in your work
· Representing TNS and maintaining good relationships with our clients and customers
· The 4 on and 4 off pattern gives you an amazing work life balance that is ideal for working parents or anyone who needs their days free. It is rare in the chef world and one of the best parts of joining our friendly and supportive team
